Microperforated Stretch Membrane

Our microperforated stretch membranes reduce echo and improve sound absorption with 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.5mm, and 1mm perforations. Sound waves pass through the perforations and are absorbed by acoustic insulation layers, helping control noise in offices, auditoriums, and commercial spaces.

These membranes can also be translucent, allowing for LED backlighting while maintaining acoustic performance, making them a functional and elegant choice for modern interiors.

How Ligkt™ Microperforated Stretch Membranes Solve Acoustical Challenge

Reducing echo and controlling noise levels requires precision, effective materials, and seamless integration. Whether minimizing sound reflections or enhancing acoustic comfort, Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membranes provide reliable solutions. Designed with 0.1mm to 1mm perforations, these membranes allow sound waves to pass through and be absorbed, ensuring noise reduction, clarity, and balanced acoustics in any space.

Echo & Noise Control

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membranes feature 0.1mm to 1mm perforations that allow sound waves to pass through, reducing reverberation in enclosed spaces. When installed with acoustic insulation layers, these membranes help absorb unwanted noise.

This makes them ideal for offices and hospitality settings, where excessive noise can reduce comfort and speech clarity. By controlling background noise and sound reflections, Ligkt™ microperforated acoustic ceilings contribute to better acoustics without bulky panels or modifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch ceilings are thin, flexible ceiling membranes engineered with tiny perforations ranging from 0.1 mm to 1 mm. These microperforations let sound waves pass through the membrane and into underlying acoustic insulation, improving sound absorption and reducing echo in a space. This creates quieter, more comfortable environments for offices, auditoriums and commercial interiors.

Ligkt™ offers several microperforated membrane variants with different perforation sizes, including V2.0/1.0/0.1, V4.0/2.0/0.2, V4.0/2.0/0.5 and V5.0/2.5/1.0. Each option provides varying degrees of acoustic performance, with larger perforation densities typically delivering higher sound absorption, making them adaptable to different noise control requirements.

Yes. Many Ligkt™ microperforated stretch ceilings are designed to work seamlessly with lighting systems such as LED backlighting. The membrane can act as a light diffuser, spreading light evenly throughout a room and eliminating glare while also delivering acoustic benefits.

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch ceilings are made from high-quality, fire-rated materials that meet safety standards such as DIN 4102 Class B1. They are resistant to sagging, moisture and wear, which ensures lasting performance and safety in demanding commercial, retail and hospitality environments.

Ligkt™ microperforated membranes come in various finishes such as glossy, matte and satin, and can also be customized with different colours and patterns. Some translucent versions allow for creative lighting effects, while all maintain a smooth, contemporary look that blends acoustic control with architectural design.
