Acoustic Innovation in Modern Wealth Environments

Located in Singapore’s Central District, Citi Wealth Hub serves as the global flagship for Citigold and Citigold Private Clients. To support the premium experience envisioned for this space, we installed Ligkt™ Microperforated Ceilings across all three levels of the facility. Designed to reduce sound reflections and improve conversational clarity, the ceilings were integrated into the architectural design as part of a broader acoustic strategy. These advanced ceiling systems support not only acoustic comfort but also lighting integration, fire safety, and long-term sustainability.

Acoustic Performance Designed for Precision

Citi Wealth Hub required acoustic control to match its high-end interior and client-focused setting. The Ligkt™ system was chosen specifically for its ability to reduce reverberation without compromising visual or functional elements.

Project Installation Overview

We supplied and installed Ligkt™ Microperforated Stretch Ceilings throughout the three-storey facility. The ceiling used a V4.0/2.0/0.5 perforation pattern, containing approximately 250,000 holes per square meter. This high-density configuration allowed the membrane to function as an efficient acoustic modulator across all levels.

Acoustic Functionality at the Core

The microperforations attenuate sound waves by absorbing excess reverberation, leading to a significant reduction in ambient noise. This helps improve the speech transmission index—critical in private advisory settings where clarity and discretion are essential.

Seamless Architectural Integration

The stretch membrane ceiling was selected for its clean lines and adaptability. Installed with precision, it aligned seamlessly with Citi’s overall interior design, maintaining the visual continuity of the space while delivering consistent acoustic performance.

How Ligkt™ Strengthened Citi Wealth Hub’s Acoustic Design

The Citi Wealth Hub project demonstrates the strategic use of Ligkt™ Microperforated Ceilings in delivering a professional, acoustically balanced, and visually refined environment. The V4.0/2.0/0.5 perforation pattern used in this project ensured maximum surface performance by providing high acoustic absorption across critical areas. This allowed the space to remain quiet and private, aligning with the advisory functions of the facility.

The selection of Ligkt™ was driven by its compatibility with stretched membrane systems, printed stretch ceiling formats, and acoustic ceiling lighting requirements. Close coordination between our team and the project’s architects enabled precise integration, making sure lighting layouts, ceiling heights, and acoustic zones aligned perfectly. The end result is a high-performing corporate interior where acoustic control, lighting comfort, and environmental responsibility converge. The system does not disrupt the visual flow of the space but rather contributes to its clarity and function. In large-scale commercial settings like Citi Wealth Hub, such integration marks a new standard for interior ceiling design.

Benefits Delivered Through Integrated Ceiling Systems

The Ligkt™ Microperforated Ceiling installation brought acoustic, lighting, and safety advantages to Citi Wealth Hub—all within a unified ceiling system.

Controlled Noise for Clearer Conversations

In financial environments, maintaining confidentiality and clarity is a priority. The ceiling system helps minimize disruptive echoes and background noise, contributing to better client-advisor communication.

Lighting Compatibility for Visual Comfort

The installed ceiling accommodates membrane lighting, led light diffusers, and light diffuser ceilings. These systems work together to deliver even, glare-free illumination across open areas and meeting rooms, improving comfort without increasing energy use.

Fire-Rated Compliance and Protection

Fire-rated ceilings are designed to enhance safety in buildings by preventing the rapid spread of fire and smoke. Made from tested fire-resistant materials, these ceilings play a crucial role in meeting modern construction regulations and improving occupant protection.

  • Enhanced Fire Containment: These ceilings form a protective barrier that slows fire progression within enclosed spaces, helping reduce structural damage.

  • Certified Materials: Fire-rated systems often use mineral wool, gypsum boards, or fire-resistant membranes that are tested to meet international fire safety standards.

  • Added Layer of Protection: When used with insulation and cladding, fire-rated ceilings contribute to longer fire resistance durations across different building types.

  • Code Compliance: Designed in accordance with local and global safety codes, these ceilings meet required endurance ratings prior to installation.

The Future of Acoustic Ceilings in Corporate Spaces

As businesses place greater emphasis on workplace comfort, privacy, and environmental responsibility, the role of acoustic ceiling systems such as Ligkt™ Microperforated Ceilings is set to grow. These systems are no longer considered just functional elements—they now form an integral part of a holistic interior strategy that addresses sound control, visual clarity, and energy efficiency. Their ability to reduce reverberation, support speech clarity, and integrate with lighting systems makes them highly valuable in corporate environments where focus and communication are critical.

Beyond their immediate acoustic benefits, these ceilings contribute to broader sustainability goals. By using recyclable materials, supporting long product lifespans, and reducing reliance on artificial lighting through light diffusion capabilities, they help companies align with green building standards. In addition, their compatibility with fire-rated specifications and soundproof ceiling technologies ensures they meet both safety and performance benchmarks. As the demand for intelligent, multipurpose building systems increases, acoustic ceilings that combine design flexibility with technical performance will become a core feature in offices, financial institutions, and professional environments. The Citi Wealth Hub project demonstrates how forward-thinking ceiling integration can elevate the workplace experience while supporting long-term operational goals—setting a precedent for future commercial interiors.
